iPhone 4S Introduces Itself
Are you addicted to Apple products? Do you love having the latest technology? If yes to both, you will be excited to hear the iPhone 4S has been officially announced. It will be available in stores October 14th, 2011!
The start price for this amazing phone is only $199 with up to 64GB.
Tim Cook, new head of Apple, showed the new iPhone 4S in Cupertino. The outside of the iPhone 4S looks like the iPhone 4 but the inside has all new features. The iPhone 4S has a dual-core A5 CPU and a new dual-core GPU in the inside. These two items are expected to boosts the phone’s graphics performance up to 7x the iPhone 4 ability. It has the same 3.5 retina display iPhone users have come to love but adds a glass plate to it. The antennae on the side that caused troubles for the iPhone 4 has been revamped and iOS can switch between two different sets to lower dropping call rates on the iPhone 4S.
The Antennas are connected to a dual mode GSM and CDMA radio, this feature will let Apple’s handset roam all over the globe and you can still enjoy 14.4Mbps HSPA+ or EV-Do Rev. A.
And if you thought that was all, there is a new 8-megapixel camera with a backside illuminated CMOS sensor for better low-light performance! The lens has a five-element assembly with a hybrid IR filter and sports apertures down to f/2.4. This feature helps video performance as well by allowing the iPhone 4S to record 1080p video, stabilize images, and it has a facial recognition feature.
Also, the Apple handset has a Siri virtual assistant tech that will enter text for you, check the weather, give you directions and perform web searches.
You even have a longer battery life with eight hours of talk over 3G, 14 hours of 2G; web browsing over 3G cuts off at six hours. WiFi will give you nine hours of web, video playback at 10 hours and music at 40 hours. The iPhone 4S comes in black and white with 16GB at $199, $299 for the 32GB, and $399 for the 64GB.
