The Certified CIO Free Trial will commence on the date that our engineer installs our system on your computers in your office.  From that day, you have 30 days to test the Certified Smart Protective System.  At the end of 30 days, we will bill your credit card for a prorated amount until the end of the calendar month.  You must notify us before the end of the Free Trial if you want to cancel.  Our system will automatically adjust your monthly bill based on the computers we are monitoring and fixing each month.  This means as you add or take away computers, the system will adjust accordingly.

At the end of the Free Trial, a consultant will discuss your needs and use of our system to ensure you are getting the most value for your investment.

The following automatic services are included at no charge as part of your Certified Smart Protection System:

  • Automatic updates of operating systems as patches are released
  • Automatic updates of supported third-party software including Java, Adobe Acrobat, Firefox and Chrome and over 40 additional programs
  • Anti-Virus protection on each workstation
  • SPAM Filtering at the server-level
  • Proactive hardware monitoring
  • Scheduling system reboots
  • Adjustments to backup job schedules
  • Clearing server log files
  • Battery backup (UPS) calibration tests (quarterly)

The following user requested services are available at an additional charge:

  • Telephone Help Desk (M-F 8am–5pm) all support issues that require an engineer’s direct HELP will be billed on an as needed basis in 15 minute increments.
  • Onsite Support (M-F 8am–5pm) all support issues that require an onsite visit will be billed on an as-needed basis as an initial 2 hour visit and 30 minutes thereafter.
  • 4 Hour immediate response service (“Critical” service type) – “Drop what you are doing and work on my problem” – We will pull an engineer and assign to your critical issue including when necessary coming to your location.
  • 24 Hour “On Call” service available outside of normal business hours
  • Manual Maintenance – Maintenance requiring manual intervention by a Certified CIO engineer such as major service packs (e.g. Windows 7 SP3, Windows 8.1, OS X Version Upgrades)
